Fall 2020 Repost: White House Spokesperson Claims President Trump Has Read a Book, Democrats Open Investigation

WASHINGTON, D.C. — White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany claimed Tuesday morning that President Trump has, for the first time during his presidency and his adult life, read a book.

“President Trump finished a book last night,” said McEnany, concluding her press briefing.

When reporters asked which book the President read, McEnany deflected questions and left the room.

Sources in the White House say that the book was anywhere from 25 to 250 pages.

Senate Democrats have launched an investigation to see what the book was.

“Whether it’s Mein Kampf or Green Eggs and Ham, the American people need to know,” said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) before he collapsed from the sudden growth of a spine.

“I READ BOOK!” tweeted President Trump on Tuesday night.

President Trump’s physician Dr. Sean Conley told CNN that he only had to give the president 100mg of Ritalin before he was ready to start reading the book.

“There’s nothing wrong with using Ritalin for concentration,” Dr. Conley said. “How do you think I got through veterinarian school?”

President Trump’s base feels that whether the president has read a full book or not is not a real political issue.

“I haven’t read a book in years and look where it’s got me,” said State Sen. Tom Kean Jr. (R-N.J.) , who is currently under investigation for using state funds to pay for his son’s clown college night classes.
